Quality inspection of stainless steel pressure gauge foundation
In order to further determine the performance of stainless steel pressure gauges, some inspection work needs to be carried out after new acquisition. Firstly, we need to verify the color markings on the case, lining, or dial of the selected stainless steel pressure gauge, and determine the type of instrument described according to regulations, and indicate the name of the special medium.
It should be noted that if it is used to measure gas pressure, a safety hole needs to be set on the back of this stainless steel pressure gauge, and there should be a dust proof device on it. There are currently two common dust prevention devices: one is to use thin paper to paste the safety hole from the inside of the watch, and the other is to cover the safety hole from the outside of the watch with a special rubber plug.
In addition, it is necessary to carefully check the dial of the instrument. The paint surface of the pointer dial of the stainless steel pressure gauge should be of good quality, without paint detachment issues, and the graduation numbers of the dial should be complete and clear. In addition, the instrument pointer should penetrate into all graduation lines, and its width should not be greater than 1/5 of the small graduation interval. The distance between the pointer and the plane of the dial should be within the range of 1-3mm. For instruments with outer diameters of 200mm and above, the distance between the pointer and the plane of the dial should be within the range of 2-4mm.
In addition, some stainless steel pressure gauges will be equipped with limited stop screws, so the pointer of such instruments needs to rest on the limit screw and press against the low point graduation line. If there is no low limit screw, then the instrument pointer should be within the width range of the low point graduation line.
In addition, the casing of the stainless steel pressure gauge should be securely fastened to ensure that all screws meet the requirements, and the sealing device should be intact with the specified lead sealing clamp seal.
