Function of water distributor

"Water distribution" is to arrange water quantity according to certain rules on a certain working area, and the most common is to distribute water evenly on the working face. The device that accomplishes this task is called a water distributor.

Common water distributors include perforated pipe, nozzle, filter head and rotary water distributor. For example, the water distributor in the sand filter is composed of the main pipe, branch pipe and water distribution hole. At the lower side of each branch pipe, a lot of holes with equal hole spacing and diameter are evenly arranged. The backwash water of the filter tank flows from the main pipe to the branch pipe, and then flows out from the holes of the branch pipe to flush the sand evenly upward. Rotary water distributor is a kind of perforated pipe that can rotate, and it is often used in water treatment.
